Sunrise praise!

Below is the development if a 24"x36" acrylic on canvas painting commissioned by a very sweet neighbor! We worked from  colors of the fabrics in her living room and were trying to capture a peaceful meadow at sunrise. Psalm 113:3 says " From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,the name of the Lord is to be praised. " the reference is inscribed above the signature per request- I love it!

We started with a berry red base:
